Jerry Snyder focuses on helping businesses understand legal challenges before they become problems. As an experienced commercial litigator, Jerry understands the value of avoiding pitfalls that can lead to litigation in the first place, as well as the value of pursuing litigation efficiently.
Jerry has been practicing law for nearly two decades in California and Northern Nevada, both in private and government practice. Jerry has represented individuals and businesses of all sizes, from small entrepreneurs to large public companies. Jerry has worked with individuals, companies and communities, and excels at delivering sensible solutions, regardless the size of the client or the scope of the situation. Jerry has extensive experience litigating cases in areas of construction law, water law, corporate governance, real property law, business torts, and intellectual property. Jerry is active in the community. He is a board member of a number of nonprofits, including Black Rock Solar, a non-profit that provides solar arrays for underserved communities; The Generator, a free community maker space; and FutureKind, which provides creative educational opportunities to the local community. When Jerry is not practicing law, he makes art, listens to music, cooks, and camps, sometimes all at once. Jerry created the Ichthyosaur Puppet Project, a large-scale, public sculpture permanently installed in the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum. Jerry also admits, "I also watch a fair amount of Doctor Who with my daughter." |
